S8 is an IP65 grade 8-inch Rugged Android tablet which is designed to withstand rough handling, like outdoor or in-vehicle harshest environment use. It is powered by Rockchip RK3288 with Android 7.1 or Linux (Ubuntu18.04). It also integrates optional modules like WiFi, 4G LTE/3G cellular, Bluetooth, Ethernet, NFC for identification. Meanwhile for in-vehicle use, it has functional interfaces such as RS232, RS422, USB host, etc, which is suitable for many applications such as fleet management, public transit, mining, precision farming, logistics and industrial control etc.
